Lazy Butt BBQ Crew

Lazy Butt BBQ Crew has been competing in competition BBQ since 2011. We started out at our local cook-off and walked in Brisket and to say we were hooked.  We are a family team with Karl Baker (wife Becky) and Lennie Sill (Wife Chris) and all of our kids helping out in one way or the other. We have made great strides every year to getting better and walking more. We compete in 8-10 comps a year. We have competed at the American Royal the last 5 years placing in the top 40 in a category every year. Top ten in beans the last 3 years. Last year we won several first place categories at the smoke-off we went to and many top tens in the categories. Our game has been improving with the mentoring from Richard Fergola of Fergolicious BBQ. The best improvement of our game is the use of the sweet luv rub on our pork and chicken it has taken our game to a new level. The color and taste of the rub is out of bounds. We are looking forward to be partnering with Fergolicious BBQ and there line of rubs, Luv Rub and Sweet Luv Rub. These rubs are a must to use.
